We obtained information about the history of ancient India for the period from 1500 BC onwards from the Vedic literature.
(3) Which literature in preserved by oral tradition?
The folk tales, the folk songs, the owis as well as the early Vedic, Jain and Buddhist literature was preserved by oral tradition.
