Field trip

• Nature: A field trip is an important method of study in geography.

• Planning : Planning a field trip entails deciding on the purpose, location, duration, and other aspects of the excursion.
• Preparations : Preparations for a field trip include selecting on a location for the visit, gathering necessary items such as a notepad, pen, pencil, camera, and so on, determining a schedule for the visit, compiling a questionnaire, and so on.
• Precautions: During a field trip or visit, one should take care not to harm the ecosystem in any manner.

Report writing :

• Nature: After the field trip, a field report should be drafted based on the information gathered.
• Basis :The field report can be written using information acquired from a field visit, photographs, maps, informative charts, questionnaires, and so on.
