(1) The functions of the Rapid Action Force

A paramilitary force is the Rapid Action Force. Its mission is to restore normalcy to people's lives by responding quickly to incidents posing a threat to national security, such as bomb blasts or riots.

(2) Human Security

Answer :

  • In the post-Cold War era, the term "national security" has expanded to include the security of people living within the country.
  • The term "human security" refers to human-centered thinking. Human beings are expected to be protected from dangers and to have access to opportunities for education, health, and development.
  • It also includes the concept of creating a conducive environment for everyone to live a respectable life by overcoming illiteracy, poverty, superstition, and backwardness.
  • Human security necessitates the protection of minorities' and weaker sections' rights.

(3) Home Guard

I would like to join the Indian Air Force for the following reasons :

  • I would be able to protect the air space of India by shooting down the aeroplanes of the enemies.
  • There is a great deal of thrill and excitement in being a pilot and flying aeroplanes.
  • Joining the IAF will provide us with unique exposure while allowing us to live a life that is both unique and extraordinary.

(2) Give your views on the policy : ‘Atoms for Peace’.

  • Nuclear power has both constructive and destructive applications.
  • The atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki demonstrated the devastation caused by nuclear weapons.
  • A nuclear war, if it occurs, will result in total annihilation.
  • In order to save humanity, I advocate total nuclear disarmament.
  • Nuclear power has many constructive applications, and 'atom for peace' will improve human life quality.
