We observed the following two and three dimensional device characteristics:

• Two dimensional devices have length and breadth. Area is calculated as the product of length and breadth.
• Three-dimensional gadgets have three dimensions: length, breadth, and height (or thickness). Volume is a product of length, breadth, and height.

The following features can be shown on a very small globe :

• Parallels of latitudes and meridians of longitudes.
• Countries, islands, gulfs, bays, seas, oceans, etc.

A globe will be suitable to learn about the concept of day and night on Earth.

A map will be useful to show our village/ city.

A map can be easily carried from one place to another.
